With our first disc repair order with CD Fixer, we had purchased a large wholesale lot of used console games, in not too great condition…all were scratched, some gouged even, they looked as though they had been stored in bags of gravel!…We might have sold these on individually for around £2-£4 each.
After finding the CD Fixer website, we sent 130 discs in for repair, and 35 for a Buff & Polish. This was based on CD Fixer’s free assessment of all of our discs. This was invaluable to us, this resulted in us only paying for repair where absolutely necessary and the remainder requiring the cheaper Buff & Polish option.
The cost was provided as a result of the assessment and included free return delivery.
Just four days later we received all our discs back in brand new condition, expertly packed and ready for sale! A very welcomed surprise was the two brand new and sealed premium title console games that came as free gifts with our order!
This enabled us to sell these games on individually, for anything between £12 and £25! Quite incredible considering we paid a price of £1.25 per disc……increasing each discs value by £10-£20!
Overall, we were incredibly impressed with the repair work and the service included was second to none. We were kept informed at every stage from receipt, assessment, repair and despatch, at no point were we ever in doubt that our valued stock was in anything but professional hands.
In the past we had sent just three discs to other disc repair companies, and the results were less than impressive, based on these results we ‘shelved’ the idea of disc repair and resorted to selling on less than average condition games at a much lower profit rate. Now we have found CD Fixer, we can continue to enjoy trade discounts for professional repairs and sell nothing less than mint condition used games at a far higher rate than previously.

Thanks for your company's professionalism here - the discs look great and I can see what you mean by the difference in results achieved when a disc is either repaired or cleaned. Some of the worst damaged discs (mainly caused due to a loose disc vibrating across a jagged locking pin) are now in a perfect condition, as a result from being repaired.
Some of the hairline scratches can still be seen on the discs that were cleaned, but you really have to look for them, and it all depends at which angle you hold the disc up to a strong light in order to see them, as the discs are so shiny now. Many of these discs had the minutest hairline scratches and a full repair would have been a waste of money, but all the cleaned discs do show a considerable improvement. In all, very glad we came across your company. A pity the search engines we used - Google and Yahoo - didn't throw you up on screen in the first results; as we said before, we had almost given up finding a company such as yours having reasonable prices, offering a professional service and one that was EU-friendly!
Very impressed with the careful and thorough checking of our discs and precise evaluation as to the best way to recondition them, with at the same time keeping our costs down by cleaning them instead of repairing them where necessary.
